There's still a couple a hundred acres behind elmers at the poles that have never been cleaned.

To be completely honest, the effects of the spill are not as bad as they are made out to be. I am doing my graduate research in this area.

Tell that to Skeeter77346, I do agree that it didn't effect the area's I normally fish with actual oil. But between grand isle and the mouth of the river it was hit hard with it, and it's a lot more there than the normal tar balls that have washed up on Grand Isle forever. It did close down the Delacroix marsh area for quite sometime. I was paying $300 a month camp expenses and couldn't fish, I don't want or did I ask BP for anything. Just stating the effects of the spill sure wasn't anything I hope to go through again.
