250 gets less fuel mileage as guides we not worried bout speed just fuel consumption mine tops out 53 just me 49 loaded 3500 rpms 32 mph and 4.05 mpg we gotta buy lotta gas 250 u gain 3 mph on top end and cruising fuel goes down to 3.8 at 34mph so why pay 2500 extra 4 the big motor plus 250s have probs
