Is that one of the hardest things you ever unwrapped?
My wife said she WILL NOT ever open a Stix rod again.
She said getting the tube open was easy, getting the
rod out of the bubble wrap and pipe insulation was a
job all by itself.
Billy makes sure nothing will break while it is in transit.

My brother was at my house when I noticed it was here and he was helping me take the wrapping off, I think I told him 100 times to make damn sure he didn't scratch those rods with his knife while cutting the tape.

My wife opened my first one. All of them have come
in while I was offshore. She said it was a beautiful
rod and it was very light weight, but she will never
attempt to unwrap one of them again.

Newspaper, bubble wrap and black pipe insulation.
Lots of clear tape too. Billy is a sick bastid, making
us go thru all that agony and anticipation to get
it open.
But they's are beautiful rods.

any body ever tell me this vein removel is a piece of cake can kiss my grits, you should have seen the funky blood the doc showed me that he removed from my main vein, it was nothing more than blood pudding not thin at all just lumpy and looked like pudding, he said that was from all the years of just sitting in that vein not moving plum dam gross if you ask me now i gotta go back in 4 weeks for a clean up to get the little short pieces removed, and right now i aint in no good mood cant sleep and i have on these hose that are squezing the sheet out of my leg, trying to drain the excess from the little veins and pain pills aint working i feel plum sorry for any one that has to go thru what i am going thru right now.
but on the bright side i came home and worked on "danny'skillstix" for a couple hrs but thats all i could handle.i will moan some more later.
later

you will never see the cuts on my leg if you live to be older than a dried out cow turdthat beeeess personal my friend, but i can tell you this, i can remember when i was a kid about 17 and riding a harley hanging around pool halls, i have sent a few dude's down the rod with almost as many cuts on his arss as i have on my leg, but i am not proud of it now that i have grown up, in those days i cared nothing about no body or nothing just brawling, now i know how it must have felt, because my leg is going thru hell right now, i had open heart and it was a piece of cake compared to this and i have more to go in 4 weeks this will be just as he said a clean up. but when it's over it will be all good.
"and while i am here""
my rod packing i have a "rod packing"rep i have been getting sh## about this for the longest time it does 2 things ,it prevents breakeage and mostly it causes the customer agony in trying to open the package cause i know it is killing them to get to it, so i do it to prolong the agony
