I'm glad you were able to help her, and SC is open 24/7 for your venting pleasure . . .

My 20 year old son came home one day and said a friend told him "I don't have to be smart, my phone is". I guess that's good as long as the batteries are charged and there's a signal.

1 - get lost on the road, let's take away rights (even though we are "conservatives")

2 - getting lost never killed anyone

3 - let's argue teaching kids independence, then bash a 19 year old for getting out and hours away from the house

4 - get lost in the woods and have someone on SC come get you out and it's a funny story. The general recommendation after this scenario is "Garmin".

5 - for centuries we have joked about girls being horrible navigators, now all of a sudden a 19 year old should be an expert?
