Jim & I fished The Cove yesterday 6:30 to 12:00, keeping 1 flounder & 1 nice red fish. A 3' shark followed my tout to the boat & glad he turned away. Water clear, sal. 10.5, wind NE @6. Did not see another fish caught. Do not know where all of the boats were but when we returned to the landing, 27 of them were still on the water.

Ya can sink the boat w/ whiteys right now. Trash pile/mud point is full of them. So is the Hammock and Blue Point. The reefs off of Redfish point has a bunch on them. Don't be surprised that the specks show up this week in the bay. Tryin Friday if weather holds out.....

I use only plastic....1/4oz jig head with Bass Assassin Sea Shad/ Chicken on a Chain or Margareta. Go to 3/8 on bottom if no bites. However, fish seem to be suspended right now in 3-4ft. Good luck

Sorry you had a bad trip! Looked at the weather around 7:00am Friday....wind was blowin' and rain all over. Worked in the yard until the rain drove me in. Lookin at Sunday afternoon. If little rain/wind I'll give it a shot.
