I've seen alot of BBqs offshore built out of galvanized iron, and we never had any problems. Hell for all I know, i may die tomorrow because of it.

I love the inlaw idea.

I'm not 100% sure if there's anything wrong by it to be galvanized. You may never reach a temp to cause it to let go or release vapors. I'm just thinking about how they treat it in the plants when we have to weld it and some of the accute effects that they say it can have on a person.

Yeah I hear ya. I've caught wiffs of that crap offshore and it will burn the hell out of the old sniffer.
