I need someone to show me how to set that leader up! The braid does seem to hang up in hooks A LOT!

Just use a swivel and 10-16 inches of Fluro, I have been running like that for the past 4 seasons. Your braid will last for ever and it really limits line twists too. I have 2 seasons on a spool of suffix, its lost a bit of color but never broke on a fish. And I only use 10lb braid

i never understood the point of 10lb braid, unless you're perch jerkin' lol

LOL 2 years? it sounds like u got your money's worth out of that spool
only way i can get line to last 2 years is to put it in the closet for 1 year and 9 months.

ME? I almost never use braid inshore saltwater. I just don't feel i need it.. MY DRAG WORKS CORRECTLY
the only time I use swivels is on a carolina rig and I personally dislike swivels because they create the need for an extra knot, which means another weak point in my line ..
For braid to mono/fluoro i just use a uni-uni splice knot, it has yet to fail me.

Give me 50# power pro on my 7'11" heavy crucial in lacassine and it don't matter if it's 2lbs or 22lbs.... it's comin MY WAY!
