First off congratulations to you your wife and your family. DON'T let him sleep in the bed with you as much as your wife may want. Get him a big bed from the get go and if he is fussy go sleep with him.

Oh yes, I've spent a chunk of change on a nice crib/bed combo. He will sleep in his own bed...I slept on floors plenty of times and his will be no different!!
