This my first ford and I couldn't be happier. I've tried dodge, chevy, and toyota and I have no intentions of ever driving anything else but fords from now on.

I've already put 1000 miles on mine and I've only had it a week. I love it especially the 21 mpg average.

V6 engines have came a long way. The new non-turbo 3.7 f150 engine has more hp than the previous model 4.6 v8. Test drive before you buy is the only way to decide. I have always been a chevy man,but the new fords are on top the game.

I traded in an 07 chevy silverado with the 4.8 V8 and my new f-150 ecoboost blows it out the water. Not only in mpg but power and towing as well. As soon as my wifes Tahoe is gone there won't ever be another chevy in my drive way. Don't get me wrong some of the older chevy's were great vehicles but their quality has gone to crap in the last few years!

ecoboost has more torque than all other half tons other than fords 6.2. torque is where your pulling power comes in. it makes 420 at 2500. all the other v8's dont make close to that at 4000. they really are quick too. i drove one a couple weeks ago at the dealer show and every red light i was smoking the tires. my chevy with the 5.3 really doesnt even come close.

Comparing apples and oranges.

Ford currently has the ecoboost, stick around and observe. The other brands will come out with something that is equal or bests the ecoboost.

Doubt it! I've had 7 fords and one chevy and I'm going back to the ford. Not just engine, everything. Way better truck!

Sometimes it is good to be a doubter keeps things balanced. Sounds as if you choose to be a Ford man. On drive trains alone, manufactures will play leap frog.

Something better always comes out weither it be ford dodge Toyota Nissan or chevy. If I stick around waiting for the better one then I'd be stuck in my old truck forever. As of right now for has the best half ton. If your buying now the ford is the way to go.
