Yeah just try to drift parallel to the beach as close as you can . I was throwing my tw plug onto the beach n pulling it into to water . But once it heated up they shut down n we fished in 5-8' around the Rock bardges. Lady fish were out in full force , huge ones lil friggin bloody tarpon! Lol

Poor man's tarpon!!
They will destroy your TW and hope you don't get a treble caught in you when they jump and spit it. Nuisance for sure. Good to know the trout are still in the surf.
