Used to use those buzz baits when I fished the Oilman's Tournaments in Toledo Bend a few years ago, we would bust them up on that bait, bass love em!!!!

A good trailer hook system is what Yellowmouth said. I like to use a big treble hook and cut the bottom hook off if the structure lets you.
