Usually this time of year is when outboard motor manufactures have deals on extended warranties. Most have a standard 3 years (4 strokes) and run the special on the extra 3. I got that when I got mine I bought it in May. If you do not want the extended warranty you can get some $ off but I would take the 3 extra years.
