Default cut

Good wound clean up, tetanus shot update, and yes stitches are needed mainly because there's too much flexing and extension of the skin around this area to heal well just with steri-strips or butterfly bandages.

I would just clean it our with some rubbing alcohol hold it closed n squirt super glue all over it n hold it till it dries w/o gluing your fingers to your knee! Then maybe put some newsprint around it n bandage it up

My father had the same wound about 10 yrs ago from an air boat accidient. being from the old school with a head like a brick he did not get it stitched, and just kept it clean with peroxide and neosporin every day with gaws and tape pulled together. The problem is the location of the wound, its in such a highly stretched area that it wanted to keep opening. I took a lil time , but eventually healed.
