Default Sorry to Hear that

If you have full coverage it will, talk to business owner of parking lot where it happened also. He is partially liable,

That is comprehensive insurance. It won't make your premium go up.
My truck was vandalized a few years ago, all the winders, insurance covered it 100%, no deductible on my comprehensive.

Vandalism is covered under your comprehensive coverage and will not affect your premium. There is and never will be any liabilty to the owner of a parking lot for vandalism to automobiles.

we saw a truck sunday morning on the way to v.bay with two of his tires busted also. It was along the thruway. wonder if it was the same a-hole. Sucks man. Had someone put 2 grand worth of damage to my truck last year at the launch.... then last weekend someone stole my light converter thing at the launch....

people need to learn how to get a life

it will almost def b covered, the business is liable for for vandelism acts on it prorpety, esp if they have cameras or if they domt have a sign stating no overnite/off hrs parking.
depending on the damage to ur rims and theprice of new tires compared to ur deductible it may b worth it to file the claim.
if u got good auto ins use it.

well i hate threads with no ending so here goes...

My insurance would cover it but they need to see the knifed tires first. Since i only had two knifed and a 500 dollar deductable, i may not process my claim. 4 new ones were 1080 and the insurance pays a depreciated value on tires that aren't brand new.

As far as the business being liable, I almost hate to open that can of worms.

I hate a vandal. Sadly enough, when the acts are completely random like that, it's often some kids with nothing else to do.
Sorry you wound up with a lazy cop. Absolutely not true that HE had to see it. As long as there is a witness and/or other physical evidence he can pursue it. His response is what makes folks hate people in my profession.

welcome aboard luv2yak. i think i may know who you are from BCKFC. i think we fished at the train tressels at the same time last month.

its so true about everything though, a few bad apples spoil the bunch, there are some great cops out there, but the ones who are there because they were picked on as a kid are usually useless.
thanks for your service protecting us/

game wardens are the same way, except there are fewer nice ones lol
