I drive a GMC now for the last 6 years and it'll be the last one I ever own. $32,000 piece of junk.

Hey W, why not give a fellow Salty Cajun a shot at your business? Do you live in or near Jennings? If so, I don't want to take anything away from the Oustalets (good people). I'm also not interested in exploiting this website to "sell" to anyone... that would get annoying, fast. I just figured I would drop a line in case I can help in any way. Thanks to everyone who is supporting Ford right now. The product is second to none.

Have been a Ford owner for close to 12 years now and it was the best move I have ever made. The only thing missing from this one is being an FX4

Thumbs up

Have an 03 Ford . It has been very reliable. Changed the battery , idle arm when I got a front end alignment. Have it serviced at Bolton. Less trouble than any vechile I have owned. The only negative is the gas mileage it has the 5.4. Pulls great but gets thirsty.

Chevy and GMC are both fugly.....not to mention GM's quality went way down after the cat eye front end on the 05-06. Sheet metal is super thin and interior is very cheaply made. The seats on my gpaws 09 is already falling apart and he takes care of his vehicles. Metal is so thin on the newer models you can push in the tailgate and fenders with your index finger.

i switched over to ford when the previous model chevy came out.....couldn't stand the front end ....then i ended up owning one .....seats were like lazy boys (liked that for the road trips)....but if you ask me...since the funky front ends of the previous models...they've come a LOOOOOOOONG WAY!

They're all like that now. Got 2 fords in the shop now that were light front end impacts and the cheapest repair is over $!2k. All manufacturers are going thin and easy crumple zones.

You buy a new Ford diesel, you better hope you like the rentals! The new diesel is major headaches for those who own em! The last real good diesel they had was the 7.3.

Thanks Top Dawg. Contact me any time, and I'll be happy to help. I'll warn you though, I'm better at drinking coffee and talking fishing than selling cars and trucks!

The truth is, all manufacturers are having a difficult time producing a bullet-proof diesel engine that can meet or exceed the emissions requirements set forth by our federal government. The new 6.7 diesel is the closest engine we've seen to the 7.3 in years. Fortunately, we've had very few problem cases in our shop and we handle as much or more diesel work than dealers in Lafayette or Baton Rouge. Most problems are caused by user error. For example, many customers modify the exhaust system or shift strategies in an effort to gain power or fuel economy. Then when something goes wrong, they want to blame the dealer or the manufacturer. You wouldn't believe the stories I've heard......
