Name tags should be a must for next year!!!!!!!!!!! If we only knew that was 1fastmerc hauling azz down the pier in his flip flops after the lighting strike! It was funny, but would have been much better if we knew who we were laughing at!!!!!!!

He can move for a big boy!!!!

One suggestion I have would be to make a stack of "hello my name is ________" stickers so everyone can put their screen name on. Then you could have an idea of who you are rubbing elbows with standing in the rain.

I had an awesome time and my nephew pulling off 2nd in youth has his ego through the roof!
It was nice meeting ya. I suggested the same thing Friday night to Sulphite on having name tags.

Regarding the raffle, with the rain and everything getting extended, to a certain extent I was trying to get everyone home since I had promised to make the event shorter this year, it was an adjustment on the fly. In my defense, we gave out more raffle items than any CCA, DU or Delta Waterfowl event I have been to (maybe not Delta, it would be close). No knock on any of these organizations by the way, I am members of all three and enjoy all of their banquets and plan to attend every year. I think it is a fine line, a two hour raffle might not be a good thing. One thing I did want to do was make sure every kid at the event went home with something

Also guys I know I did not get to speak to all of you, I apologize for that. Once I arrived at the event and had everything set up, the rain came in very quickly. Once the rain started, I had a hard enough time just trying to keep things half way organized and decide if we were even going to be able to have a trophy presentation. Plus with my wife being out of town, I had to try and keep an eye out for my kids every now and then.

I am very thankful to those of you that stayed, I thought the atmosphere after the rain was great, it was adhoc and we made it work.

No need for apologies. You and the mods put on a heck of a tourney.

I think you guys are right, I should have given the rods away one at a time, noted for next year.

BlueChip and his crew did an awsome job with the food, I went back for leftovers and he said "sorry, they killed it all, none left".

Keep in mind guys all of these items are donated and they gave us a fixed number. If I put a rod in the trash fish divsion I will be taking it away from the raffle. Also If I add multiple rods for teams, etc.. those come from the raffle.

Tasty offshore fish don't count as trash fish. Inland only.

My only suggestion is don't let the Powers That Be close the Ellender Bridge!

It killed us not being able to attend. I know it was fun and it sounds like Camp Canard might have had a good chance to finally win a Raffle Prize. Just wasn't meant to be for us West Siders. And I'll echo sammich, Casey, no need to apologize, especially under the circumstances.

Weigh in at Dugas would be nice next year .
Jack could be the weighmaster/welcoming committee. He is probably great with kids too.
