Dink, get you a slate call or a box call - can't go wrong. It takes a while to pick up a diaphragm call. I have killed turkeys with all of them. Benefit of the diaphragm is that it frees your hands, but i think they are a pain in the butt and you can't keep a chew in your mouth :-)...

Ive been practicing Si's turkey calling dance......but its very technical. Cant quite get it down

Get you a good box call. Easiest to use and will sound the best.
