I don't think you will get into any trout. Wind been pretty stiff out the south, but may get into some reds. Good luck. Bring a 4 wheel drive if you can and drive down Mae's beach looking for bait and you may find some reds.

heading west from holly beach, they have 3 roads that lead down to camps. which one is mae's beach? after those is Jim Erbelding road, is that Johnson Bayou?

This one will be past those. Right after the sign that says Johnson Bayou. I'm pretty sure there is a little campground right across the street from turn.

ok thanks. i was thinking on hitting the jetties in cameron that afternoon, so i think ill just stay west of holly beach this time. but ill make a trip when the weather is perfect and try to get some specks too.
