Myth: You can get rabies if sprayed in the eyes. (Fact: You can only get rabies from the saliva when bitten. There are rare cases where one could get rabies from handling the blood of a rabid animal's brain or if a rabid animal was shot in the head and it got into a cut or eyes.) |

The smell from a skunk is not urine, but comes from the anal glands.
Thats how some people keep em as pets, by removing the anal glands. I dont think it is carried by the spray but the saliva or maybe blood. |

no can get from the spray. But saliva and blood can definitely pass rabies on to your dogs.
