I thought rabies was transported through saliva only?

Found this on www.stinkybusiness.org

Myth: You can get rabies if sprayed in the eyes. (Fact: You can only get rabies from the saliva when bitten. There are rare cases where one could get rabies from handling the blood of a rabid animal's brain or if a rabid animal was shot in the head and it got into a cut or eyes.)

That is correct! If your dog killed it, they prolly swapped spit somewhere in the battle.

The smell from a skunk is not urine, but comes from the anal glands.

Thats how some people keep em as pets, by removing the anal glands.

I dont think it is carried by the spray but the saliva or maybe blood.

I started with the tomato juice for the simplicity of it and I think it worked pretty well, other than the fact that both my dogs are a weird shade of pink.

no can get from the spray. But saliva and blood can definitely pass rabies on to your dogs.
