I've thought about taking a guided trip to learn some new spots and techniques, but I don't want to piss off a guide by going with him and then he sees me in the spot a couple days later in my boat. So your not supposed to leave extra early the day after the guided trip to beat the guide to the spot he brought you to???

It's a good way to get a top dog thrown at your head with an "errant cast" by said guide.
