LAS classifieds had a Barrett 50 cal forsale last month for $5,000.00.
Bet you could clear out the lake by dragging that mutha.
I can't imagine making a kill at 1 1/2 miles,"Towelhead" did not heard it until he was already dead. If anyone here reads, get the book "Sniper" or Bio of Carlos Hathcock. Both are excellent reads that you will finish in mere days.

They had one for sale at Lafayette Shooters last week for around the same price I believe, a buddy went there and saw it. He said that gun is so much bigger than you would expect it to be.

Can you just imagine firing off 30-40 rounds from that cannon??
The marine sniper they interviewed about Faluja said it got uncomfortable after about 20 rounds and he was a big ole boy.

Yes, that was an amazing shot...He said when no one ran out from behind the wall, he knew he had killed all of them...Exceptional marksmanship and training..

Just got finished watching it. While growing up,I always thought if I would ever join the military, thats probably what I would have wanted to be. They had a 50 cal. bolt action at Cabelas last year. They got it out of the back for me to look at. The gun is huge and weighs a ton,and the barrel is big like a muffler.
