In Lafayette they will threaten to refer the account to a collection agency...and that will affect your credit if they follow through.

Credit report is important, and because the car belongs to me, I am liable, yet, have not sign any agreement of debt for repayment, so how can that really stick to affect credit report?


If does not impact driver license or registration of vehicle once comes up for renewal, why even bother paying I guess?
