I need a merriams and an osceola as well. Your trip to Nebraska, guided or public land?

Maybe we've found a subject that W is just not interested in. I notice there's no comments from him. Probably best, tho, since the only thing synonymous with W and turkey hunting is CACKLING.

The three day semi guided hunt is 700 and you can kill 2 birds that includes all food lodging and stuff to that nature. The flight is give or take 400 and the rental car for four guys will be about 100 each. Total I expect to spend around 1,300-1,400 total.

Good luck in Florida. Been down there twice and finally said, " these
long-legged bastids."

The terrain down there is so much different than any you've ever seen but them birds have adapted.....the hunters have not.

Other than our Easterns, I've only killed a few Rios. Them things are like shootin' fish in a barrel.

Are they just that wary or what is the deal?? Trying to gather as much info before I drop 4g's to not kill anything. Is it even worth it?

Yep.......those birds "EDUCATED" us last year.....but we learned a lot to.

I got some ideas and we need to get ready a few weeks before the season.
