I have a 23 ft Bay boat w/ 225 2 stokr and its a gas hog. Especially if it's just me burning up the water.


I would like some thing more economical for when it's just me.

Will probably go with a Texas Scooter if I do anything

Texascooter 10-16 ft varios manufacturers and styles but similar to this.

Actually it would be like my 23 footer but 15 ft.

my buddy had a 18ft (i think) shallow sport we fish fourchon out of it a bunch talk about cofidence runnin out the pass in some big roller the water would just run over one side and off the next it was great

That style is great in the surf cause the water just rolls over and off as you said.
