drost,it was a bank repo out of tampa fl.....neg the credit union for 2 weeks and finally got it for the price i wanted to spend......only bad thing was going to pick that bad boy up all the way in florida....

very nice catch. what time were you guys there.i was at the first weir by heberts arround 8:30.we dint get a bite.a guy across said he only had 1.my hats off to you guys and great catch.it was cold ride on the lake!!!

We were at the first weir at about the same time. We also talked to that guy that caught the one fish. We left there and tried a few more spots including the 3rd weir and nothing at all until about 12:30 then we saw a boat pulling them in one after another. We waited until they left then we took there spot and it was on.

Agreed. I got caught about 6 months ago @ the Grand Bayou Weirs & I got a ticket for $225. So did the guy fishing with me. It's a federal violation & they mail you the information on the violation & where to pay the ticket.

To each his own I guess. Personally I've never caught a redfish worth $225.

Nice catch though. Just watch out for the po po over there.
