Cards and prices were at their apex in the late 80s and early 90s. Since then everything has crashed. Notice that you don't see comic book and baseball card stores in every mini-mall anymore? I've got a huge collection I wasted a lot of money on when I was in high school. Things got tough for me about 6 years ago and I sold a lot of things. I got all my cards out, along with my detailed notebook and put a bunch up on Ebay, going by the old prices. I sold one single card for the opening bid. That was it. I thought I had about $5k worth of cards. I reckon I've actually got about $200 worth of cards. Save them for the kids bro.
