Burglar shot outside the home dies

There is a cheap motion detector system at Harbor Freight in Lake Charles.
It has a motion detector outdoors and an alarm inside. Battery operated, wireless.
I think it is around $30. I have them so we know when anyone comes close to any
of our doors or under the car port. We get a beep beep.
We also have a complete home alarm system, but it didn't cover the outside motion.
My wife is a lot more comfortable knowing she will hear the alarm before someone can come into the house. She can be ready for them.

I've thought about those Ray for the same reason you use them. Do you have a problem with animals setting it off.

No animal issues yet. But I live in town. We don't have many domestic animals. Lots of squirrels.

I have a few moving targets uh... stray cats that are dumped that are around from time to time. I have seen a few deer in my front yard also but I think they would be a little to far from where I would set the unit. Maybe I could put it toward the tree line during certain times of the year. Those pesky pear eaters...

Even with the big monitored alarm system, my wife feels a lot better with the motion alarms.
