Actually now you can go online to Disney's website and schedule them before you get to the park. I booked through a travel agent and he told me. Our band are not in yet and my wife has schedules some fast passes. The New system is called fastpass +. I think you click on the My Disney experience link and you go from there. I hope this helps

Did you find that having to schedule the fast passes ahead of time put you too much on a schedule?

No I didn't find it bad, it did have us on somewhat of a schedule but my wife did a good job setting them up so it wasn't a hassle

Plus, if you need to change your fast pass times you can change them at any time, so if we wanted to go do something else when our fast pass times were we just changed out fast pass till later and went on with our day .. Or sometimes we would get to a ride we had a fast pass for and there would be no line so we would change our fast pass time till later when we thought there would be a line and just ride it a few times

As long as you don't use them, you can change the fast pass times to a more convenient time, even if it's past the time that the fast pass is for

I believe the wife scheduled a few already. Just curious when we get there if it is still online to add more, at the ride, or both?

Stay on property, it is well worth it. We stayed off property the first time. Traffic at closing is terrible. All of the places on property are nice and they are running some deals right now. Check out their website.

I went for the first time in October with my family.. Had a blast with my lil girl.. Really was a great time.. So much to do/see and not enough time!! I can tell you this if you go on the safari at animal kingdom do NOT lean over to your wife and tell her " if only I could have one day to bow hunt in here!" I got boo'd and one lady hit me with a stuffed elephant... lol

Hopefully the crowds cleared out for you, I have a few friends who went this past week who said the lines were rediculous.

We went several years ago for Mardi Gras and it wasn't crowded at all.

wow that place was Nutttts!!!!! Just got back Sunday. It was my first time and I was not ready. It was packed up on Monday at Majic Kingdom, half our group had panic attacks as we had 4 kids with us (6yro, 2- 3yro,and a 10monthold). Got better after the first day once we knew what to expect. Overall had a good time. That place is very well run and really clean. Caught 2 bass in the only hour i got to fish in the small lake behind our resort. They wanted the ole fluke

Just got back also, I agree...that place is awesome. Crowds were not too bad. Only long line i stood in was for the Safari and i would do it again.

Didn't get a chance to wet a line but boy did i wet the whistle when i got back to the house!

I stayed offsite at Reunion resort and it was 10 minutes from any parking at the parks. I would recommend this route because once you are off the grounds....everyone gets to decompress.

BTW...it looked like a Louisiana reunion!

On a funny note....i had a standing bet with a buddy that he and his family came with us that every day, whoever recognized a person and said hello.....owed the other a beer. Kept the time flying! Things we do for a $8 beer! LOL
