I am taking the family to Galveston next month for vacation. My dad just moved in between Kemah and league city so we will only be about 20 minutes from Galveston and it will be a free place to stay. Lots of stuff to do. I was there this weekend with my little boy and took him to the board walk in Kemah and he really liked it. Yep, we were eating outside at Cadillac's yesterday morning and that big sucker with the teeth painted on the front passed by. It must hold 50 people. My lil brother said it does about 65-70mph fully loaded with people. They had some hotties dancing on it when it passed by.

Kemah is very fun for kids and adults, but it is expensive to stay at the boardwalk. There are some good hotels just outside the Boardwalk that are half the price.
