I think I'm going with the triton 24lts pro. Haven't had any neg feedback other then speed. I have kids so I need a big *** boat that rides smooth and handles rough water.

That is what my next will be, but was very impressed with a Trans Cat, we ran in some shallow stuff, some as deep as 6 inches.

They are nice but not much cheaper than a skeeter or ranger.....all boats are very expensive these days like eveything else. My vote would be the 24 triton, that is one smooth riding boat in rough seas.

I have a Cobia, built by the same company as Pathfinder. I like it, but it is heavy and has a lot of storage. The more storage you have, the more junk you will collect.
My next boat will be lighter and less storage. I'd prefer something with a big front and rear deck without the bench seat. I rode in a Majak with comfortable racing seats. Them things were nice. |

If you want to ride in a 24lts let me know and I'll take you for a spin. IMO best inshore/light offshore boat out there. The 22 is also a solid choice and the one that is for sale on here has been well taken care of.

Like I said I think you will love the Triton, well built solid boats. I have to disagree with Meaux but it is all a matter of personal preference. I bought a second Pure Bay 2400 because I felt it was the most well rounded 24+ foot boat under 65K on the market (24 feet 10 inches). It also is 8 to 10K less than a new triton. I have a 300 yam 4 stroke on mine and it has seen 64mph and is as smooth at 64 as it is at 34 which was an issue for my Haynie. The boat comes standard with trim tabs and Lake Area can make you a smoking deal on one if you are intrested. It can also be customized, mine is grey with a black bottom and has racing seats like a Haynie. 3.8MPG at a cruise speed of 44mph.

I can vouch for the 22 triton for sale on the site, the owner took very good care of it and it has very low hours. He had it garage stored since the day he bought it.

Difference is, you actually get the boat you paid for instead of a name
