W, wanna re-think that statement?

I am just going to use the TSunami knock offs! Until I run out of my supply of Paul Browns hand made corky's. Sad day, he told me he was going to take his technique for making the best big trout I have ever used to the grave... He is a great man and invented my favorite bait on big lake. Mirrorlure had never made a good bait in my opinion. The catch 5 or any other "pretty" baits they make will get blown out of the water by a corky anyday. Catch 2000's are garbage also!!!!!!!!!

Two words : Spooks & Corky's

Tsunamis aren't even close to the corky's. Float em side by side in your sink and you'll see the difference. Tsunamis sink like a turd in a churn...

****ie Colburn, my favorite guide on Sabine (sponsored by Mirrolure) just posted this on his site:
While on the subject of MirrOlure, Mike Haring of Mainstream Marketing called me last night and confirmed the rumor that MirrOlure has indeed bought out Paul Brown and the Corky line. Paul will continue to oversee the operation for a while and there will be no changes outside of the possible addition of some new colors. Same wire harness, same plastic, paint, design, etc.
I think it will be sometime after Jan. 1, that we start seeing them on the shelf in any outdoor departments that handle the rest of the MirrOlure line. This is great news for trout fishermen that live any distance at all from Houston. You never knew what Paul had left in stock until you walked in the door. No more swimming for Corkies hung up a little deeper than your waders!

I've been tryin' to get that Bomber vs Catch match for a long time. Fool said you don't want none. I tend to agree.

Churn

I am hoping for the best and maybe-just maybe MirroLure will use thier investment towards continuing and improving what I beleive to be the greatest trout lure(and trophy trout) ever produced.

To say mirrolure isn't that good of a manufacture is crazy talk. All of them thar DOGS has a place in my topwater box and so does the mirrodine and XL,Catch 5s, and the glad shad - they all sink and twitch better than most other hard baits ( catch 2000s and a few others I havn't any use for).

Down to my last 20 or so Corkys - 3 devils - and 3 fatboys. I live in Orange TX(I know - boooo!!lol) but hearing this news I am calling B&L while I fish today AND IF HIS STOCK IS DECENT i WILL DRIVE THERE TODAY AND SPEND $100-$200 IF i HAVE TO. IF NOT TODAY IT WILL BE WITHIN A WEEK!! IF ANYBODY WANTS ME TO PICK THEM SOME UP PM ME AND MAKE AN ARRANGEMENT.

WAIT!! i AM CALLING B&L WHILE ON THE LAKE TODAY AND IF STOCK IS WORTH IT I WON'T BE CHECKING OUT FORUM I WILL BE FLYING TO HOUSTON!!
MY VERY FIRST ORDER OF CORKYS CAME FROM A GREAT GUY ON 2COOL THAT OFFERED TO PICK ME UP ALL THAT I WANTED AND MAILED THEM TO ME BEFORE HE EVEN GOT A CHECK FROM ME

409-670-4022
TEXT (or call but phone stays on silent while fishing) after 11:00am and if I go i will buy even more and figure out payment details and shipping later.
It is thursday - 9-17-09 at 11:00pm right now. PLEASE don't call after Friday - 9-18-09
Offering this because I spend around 75% of my time around Sabine in LA and this late fall thru spring this Texan will be wading Big Lake grinding, chasing, catching, and releasing Trophys!!(I Hope)

Thanks LA!! and I hope a few catch this reply in-time. ( I really hope the stock is at least "decent"
