You might just want the 300 but I can assure you it is not needed. The boat screams with 250 SHO. 58mph with 4 people and fishing gear and Bruce got it to 65mph alone. But then again it is like I told that game warden when he checked me duck hunting and asked why I was shooting 3 1/2 inch shells at them ducks. My response," Cause they don't make 4 inch shells". Anyway, my boat should be in next week and I can't wait!
