Cabela's waders for me. Stocking foot and you put a special shoe on top.of the waders. Find that you are more mobile and able to walk the marsh better with this vs. waders with the heavy rubber boot molded in. Been having mine 5-6 years, no problems. Get the thicker neoprene. I think choices used to be 3mm vs 5-6mm thickness. I went with the thicker ones and have held up great. They are hot to wear during warmer weather however.

LaAngler was right on with Simms. The Blackfoot ,Freestone and Headwaters are the lower end breathables. They retail for $199.99 to $299.99.The G-3,s $329.99.g-4,s approx. $500.00.You can pay as much as $700.00 for a pr. of g-4z with a built in front zipper. All are breathables. In frigid weather you can wear some fleece underneath and be toasty warm. They are also super comfortable and should be for the price.Neopremes are ok if it is freezing. Some are uncomfortable and you will sweat profusely when it warms up.Simms has a great warranty and reputation.I have had a pr for years with no problems...
