Got to hold him for the first time tonight and almost lost it! This is by far the beat feeling I've ever had! He's doing much better tonight, my wife was able to feed him and his respiratory rate stayed down so they're just making sure he can maintain his temperature himself and hopefully bringing him to us in the morning sometime.

Great news Ross!!!!! Holding your own child for the first time is truly an amazing feeling. It gets more amazing watching them grow.

Levi is doing great now! His breathing is now consistant and he is doing everything on his own! They're gonna keep him in NICU tonight to work on his feeding a little bit just to make sure he has it down pat since they've mostly been feeding him by tube. Here's a pic of my lil man!
