And can you tell the guy in white boots with the "What would Rambo Sign" to please join up and explain that to us.... I hope he know Rambo is a fictional figure and not a real guy who will save the oyster world

i understand your love for your job...but your job could be in jepordy b/c of overfishing, do you agree...

I want insight from someone in this line of work.

No its fine at least you can admit your just poking...

But is there a concern of overfishing within the oystering community...I wish I could say local oysterfisherman but we all know its not.

As far as crab traps....yes a few years ago their was 3000 right in front of grand bayou..and I hit a few of the which cost me $$$

Now its a lot better!! Thanks for clearing the out around the lake

And I agree that everyone who tong before should have 1st permits! I don't have a problem with oysters fisherman! I have a problem with 110 boats on one reef for 5 days, and watch them get a basket full and run to the bank and dump the small ones out and other shell, it does no good on the bank!

And I also have a problem with the outlaws! For christ sake the WL&F had to get a surveillance plane to spy on all the boats taking oysters from protected reefs! Oyster fisherman had more violations than all others combine last year!

That's is another negative for us who love our estuary and like to protect it!
