There are 3 sides to every story, and if I was the judge I would say that Duck Enticer has plead his case and has dispelled the rumors brought upon him

The blinds are way too close and seems that Cajunsorc is wanting to control all the hunting out there even though he has no say so, this is just from my point of view.

I know if I was getting texts from a guy in another blind telling me what I should and shouldn't do...

I almost feel sorry for Duck Enticer for getting shafted and paying $4600 to hunt 450 yards from another blind that tells him when he can shoot and when he can't

Not a good thing to come to a forum with only 8 weeks left to the season.
Clearly SHOWS intent on "ousting" someone despite the comment about respect.

If there is truly respect, then you let it go and do not re-up the lease.
Just tell the guy "you and I do not hunt the same way" or "this is not going to work out, our hunting philisophy are different"

seems as though you are killing birds, ducks at least, and been going quite a bit.

Any one who has hunted the rice fields can attest to the pressure getting to birds when a blind is hunted consistently.

You have to change tactics.

Just disappointed that two members here cannot take this elsewhere or not take it anywhere and just move on.

and on a side note, grandma always said the first "smeller" is usually the "feller" that did the deed.

Don't know either of you fellers but ............for goodness sake communicate or don't communicate in private.

This story took an interesting turn. Thanks for telling us your side duck enticer. You did it in a very respectful way. No name calling like the OP.

this is true, but if this would be me and i was getting accused of something i would defend myself. Wouldn't you? These were some pretty bad accusations, and i was one of the guilty ones for bashing Duck Enticer and for that i apologize.

Oh, I can't disagree...............but ACTIONS always tell the tell.
Enticer has handled this magnanomously to say the least.

Now, stand down and let "THE Vindicator" do his work.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying, and was the reason why I was so hesitant to post at all. I just didn't want it to go here. I guess I am not better than that, which is sad. Part of what me and my buddy had to weigh though, was what is gonna happen to the next guy who comes in and tries to lease this blind. That is why I decided to post. I couldn't stand for someone else to go through something like this.

The secondary issue was the defamation of my character. I'm not perfect, but I am certainly not what he describes. And I most certainly did not shoot at his blind after receiving a text!!!!! I never got the text, I didn't have a phone. Had he chose to talk to me we could have ironed this out.

Glad you came out and were a good 'sport' about it I would have been irate had it been me. If you are the same duck enticer from the refuge forums then I must say I have never seen you say one bad thing about anyone and never make negative comments which says a LOT especially there

The funny thing is, is that there will be 100 people try and lease that place next year even though they know what is going on. Duck hunters lack sense sometimes

I hunt/lease with Duck_enticer. I agree with all said and the blinds are much to close. This is not a marsh its an old rice field. There are 4 blinds within 450 yard of each other. Not to mention 2 others that are close enough to flare birds when shooting. The entire area has lots of pressure. This type of hunting scenario is setup to generate conflicts as we have here. Farmer is a great guy. With that said the blind we leased should not be leased for ducks or geese in my opinion. I've been hunting ducks for 20 years this is by far the poorest season to date...very disapointed with shooting oportunities at this location. As for our neighbor to the South no hard feelings, in the future make it a point to voice your opinions privately or to the persons you have a problem with. Discussing problems in an open forum does nothing to resolve the issue.

I had several discussions with Duckenticer about the issues I had and each time he said he understood. I still have several texts and a voice message from him concerning those conversations. We had 0 problems with the guys that hunted that blind last year and the only issue that we have had this year is the lack of respect from fellow hunters while trying to work birds. Ideally, the blinds would be further apart. I have an older gentleman that is hunting 250yds to my left and has been there almost every day that I have and we have had 0 problems because he returns the respect that we show him. Shooting blackbirds, crows, etc. is an issue when someone else is trying to work birds. I am very sorry that Duckenticer feels "cheated" but he is the one that has created the problem and I only posted here after several attempts to discuss things with him "one on one". I can't imagine doing the things that duckenticer has done this year, much less after someone talked to me several times regarding my actions. Also, I can tell you that we do not "skyblast" birds from my blind and this is just another attempt by duckenticer to discredit me in light of the accusations made toward him. I will tell you that I only posted on here to "get his attention" in hopes that he would see this and stop his kidlike hunting behavior as I threatened to expose him to everyone. So his only defense has been to come out and attack me and try to discredit everything I have said. My only advice is that he should evaluate his hunting skills and ethics infront of someone else other than me. I was informed by the hunter prior to Christmas to video his actions as proof of what he is doing in the blind. If I do get any incriminating footage I will post it here........
