Also keep an eye out for gulls who are just sitting on the surface and picking at the water, these spots can be productive too. All in all I think the most important part of fishing birds is to make sure they are diving on shrimp or else youll just most likely catch gaftops and bull reds if youre lucky. |

Have you tried fishing the birds behind the shrimp boat? I never have a problem with them leaving. Usually some solid trout under them

Shrimp boats an ships seem to have the most solid amount of birds that seem comfortable enough to not leave, you can usually run on step right up to them.

They made a cork that is claiming to attract fish by making feeding sounds. Why not birds diving to attract the fish.

Y'all need to try this: Next time a group of birds leave, start throwing rocks in the area they left. This will keep the shrimp disoriented and the specks feeding. I get some weird looks on the water sometimes but it works. |

You guys better stop this madness. Have you not seen enough retards chasing birds to know that they don't possess the sense to figure out you guys are being less than serious. If I get hit by a rock or get some gull feed in my impeller I am blaming you guys.

Haaaa I see what you did there. I like to bring mine to baseball games, but I always have to bring a little blind fold for her so she doesn't start hunting for spoons on the infield after seeing the first pitch. Apply this method to your training, and you should be fine.... |

I think it's a good opportunity to work on Sport's bad habit of breaking early.

Also helps to bring different color rocks, I use white limestone for duck hunting and blue painted rocks for fishing.
