Worked all day in the yard yesterday getting ready for fall and starting the fall clean up. Weeded spaded hoed raked fertilized and added a lil miricle grow garden soil to a 12x4, 6x4 and 4x4 garden box. Weeded the horrible overgrown blue berry bushes finding them under the weeds and st Augustine runners. Went to the corner and scored 4 pallattes from the feed and seed place and mucked out my old home made fire pit. Still got stuff to do but am ready to fire it up tonight. Fire pit going BBQ pit smoking(cleaned it out too) LSU Game on the out side speakers! Gonna be a Louisiana Saturday night!

I wish I was breaking out the fire pit as my luck would have it I only got a taste of the first cold front for a day then I had to catch a plane to Africa to go to work just hope that the cool weather is still there when I get back sunday night.

Heart breaking and I actually shed a tear my ole skill saw gave up yesterday while cutting a palliate up. The dayn thing was 30+years old and I remember both my grandfather and father using it on ocasion on various projects. So its off to Lowes we went and picked up a new one just like it, and while at it picked up a dewalt recip saw. Gonna use it fro the pallates and such and save the circular for boards. It's gonna have a real test cause I also bought some heavy 2x12 boards to replace a garden box and put in a new one.

The yard work proceeds slowly but I can see the light at the end of this weeks projects and its the light from our fire pit which is currently blocked by some 2x12's that will become garden boxes. I did it like that on purpose to give me inspiration to finish
