Default black bayou bowfishing 10/15

Got a call at 430 to go bowfishin. Caught some trout this morning and figured this would be a cool way to top off the evening. Went out this evening with a friend to black bayou in search of some gar. Water was muddier than last time, fish were not as active. Took 10 shots between the two of us in 2 hours. He shot two and I shot one. I was definitely more accurate tonight, hit 1 out of 3 shots. No where near the activity tonight. Did see about a 2.5foot gator swimmin the bank, and we scared off 4 drum or carp due to the muddiness of the water. Skeeters were out for a bit. Fog coming off the water made it hard to spot light.

The small ones are harder to hit than the big ones! I've got a few 6+footers out of black bayou. Our best night had 8ft water clarity, looked like a swimming pool. Dissapointing when the water is murky
