Default Quick trip to Nibblets Bluff

Interesting morning as I saw something that has not been seen all summer... CURRENT !!! Caught steady pickles on soft plastics along Old River to the oxbow...

Moved to the north end of Big Bayou and ran across a lost yellow lab on the bank... Tried shouting out loud for a nearby hunter to answer back to no avail... Pooch swam out to me and I loaded his big arse in the boat where he showed his appreciation by shaking water over me and everything else...

Luckily the owner had his cell number on the dogs collar and I was able to get him back to his family... Needless to say, that shut the fishing down for the rest of the morning...

Saw another "Salty Cajun's" truck at the ramp hopefully he will post a report as well...

Brrrr, January, brrrr ...

I just started fishing there this spring and am still learing, the water has dropped 20 plus degrees in the last month but "patterns" still seem the same for now...

The Nibblets launch can't be beat, BOB is a hole and I have heard stories about having your vehicle messed with over there so I try to avoid it...
