I never bought the full version but I have motion x. I can store tracks with the free version. It has been real accurate for me so far with maps and speeds.

I have gps essentials for Android also. I can sync it with waypoints from my humminbird on my boat and I've got my coordinates no matter whose boat I fish out of. There are better apps out there, like Navionics, but I think it is great for a free app. I don't use it for hunting but I imagine it would work just fine for that as well.
