Default Mermentau River

Thinking of going try for some bass between Mermentau and Lake Arthur. Any fishing or water condition reports?

Thanks,
Ronnie

Water clarity is stained to muddy but with the rain fish run offs out the cuts and trees south of the bridge in Mermentau with baby brush hogs watermelon sorted colors red the best. And try all the main points of the river. Sometimes they can be stacked up on one point with some nice quality fish! But be ready you will catch some nice goggle eye too.
