Man that is my favorite fish to eat. People have asked me before why I didn't stuff it and have a replica made but we had 22 flounder that day and several went 5lbs so there was no need for meat! We had plenty!

Had a similar day on Prien....kept 15 specs, 1 red, and 4 flounder.

All top water action except for flat fish. It was nice morning to be on the water. Tide was moving!

According to RodnReel.com's length/weight calculator, a 20 inch flounder would weigh about 3.62 lbs. A flounder would have to be over 28 inches to weigh 10 lbs according to this chart.

That flounder weighed way over #4. If you look in the photo the trout are 13 inches and longer. It is as long as 2 trout end to end.

I'm not trying to stir anything up or doubt you. I was just giving you some stats based upon the information you provided. You said it was as long as the inside of your ice chest which you later said was 20 inches. It is a very nice fish!
