Default Fausto's

Had always heard good things about them. On the way back from the beach Saturday we stopped there for lunch. NEVER again. People and service were good. Food was horrible. I didn't have a single oyster on my poboy that was bigger than a piece of fried ocra. If they can't get good oysters I understand. Take it off of the menu.

Not taking up for them and usually call it like I see it as well ... But eat there quit often.

Doesn't sound like the norm for them.

Cajun baked potatoes are my weakness there !

To say I will never go back was an overstatement on my part. Their fried chicken looked damn good. The place and the people were great. My thing was less than quarter size oysters. It was just fried crunch between two pieces of bread. Bread was good though.

When the lake comes back up y'all need to come hang. Can pull upp in your boat, tie off, listen to the band, have beer and food brought to your boat. Order drinks and food from your boat and it gets delivered.

Those things are HUGE there. I can eat two meals off those potatoes. At least, that's how I remember them. Used to live in Kinder years ago.

Yep ! Still are very filling. Better bring your appetite to finish one in a single sitting.

Good stuff for sure.

Never. I don't want a pissed off person making the next one. Never know what they may do to it.

Where was the last place you ate that was really good?

Did you make a thread praising them?

Don't you own business? How's the saying go..... If you're happy with my service tell your friends, if you're not happy with my service tell me. All to often these days people bash a business via, twitter, Facebook, TripAdvisor etc and rarely praise them when its due. You should have given them a chance to make it right. That's my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

Tunk's Cypress Inn. Food good, people are good and you can have a cold beer with your meal. They even deliver your food and drinks to your boat if you come by way of the lake.
