Going here for a couple nights with my girlfriend over our spring break..never fished this area before. I'm from north texas, and have not fished freshwater since I brought my boat down.

Would like to catch some crappie/sacalait and was wondering some good areas of the river to target. Also, if anyone has been catching anything here, what colors/size/depth/water clarity were you fishing in/with? Hell, even a nice mess of bluegills would be cool.

Will be there from monday-wednesday, supposed to have some good weather.

Will be my girls first time camping, wanna show her a good time on the water too.

What us up with yall and them V hulls from texas! lol, last year i helped a family with a V hull.

Our blue gills, are about hand size, and smaller. Chikapin (mix between bluee gill and white perch i guess) are a bit bigger then the bream.
Yesterday i had 16 bass all 1 lb-3.5
This morning i fished for hour and a 1/2 and had 5 fish.

Send me a message on here, i don't like posting to much info on this place..
