Great service!! In and out in 2 days new compressor, tune up and prop shaft seals changed on my 300xs

fast services does not mean good service. drop boat in dularge idled pass camps went to get on plan no power. started idleing back to launch couldn't make it had to troll motor back. brought back to them this morning.

They also backed the boat in the water strapped to the trailer with no drain plug to test run and drown the jack plate and power pole pumps along with the battery and charge. i found that when i got home i used a can of WD-40 to clean everthing. they said they will check it all out.

Come to find out I not only had a bad compressor but a bad piston as well. Now I have a hole in the block. The motor is out of warranty and they are getting with Mercury to see if they will help sense motor only has 168hr.

it's 1 year out of warranty. Chris Marine offered me 1 year for 3k and 2 years for 5k when i puschased boat through them. never thought i would need it

Dang; well hopefully mercury helps ya out!!

I know a few folks who have that engine and they have all had some issue. It seems like there is so much power running thru the engine that some part is bound to fail.
One guy basically works on his engine non stop; like a race car engine.
But them engines sure do fly!!

Mercury has decided to help out by charging half price for new powerhead with 1 year warranty installed. they say this is the second time #5 pistons goes out on my motor. We need carfax to do boat motors. LOL

rig had 120hr. when i purchased it a year ago.
