Bought the wife a 1500 today in .270... Don't know too much about this one. You guys ever own or shoot one?!! Let me know good or bad?!?!?

I have 2. One in 30/06 and another in .243. Both good shooting guns.

A bit late to the party but HOWA makes the Weatherby Vanguard line of rifles and every one of those that I've shot has been a tack driver. Not the smoothest action, not the best looking rifle but it'll easily get the job done for a good price. On top of that, you can't beat a .270 win.

I got a .270 model 1500 for Christmas my senior year of high school. I'm more than pleased with it. I've killed over 20 deer with it, shoots as consistent of a group as you could ask for. Like cajun83 said it's not a flashy finished showcase rifle but it's gonna do what you want it to for sure
