Default Prien area 2-9-13

Made a quick trip this morning to the prien area and caught a few reds and a nice flounder. Had to be back within a couple hours but still did good. Black or dark Gulp & the water is still muddy, there were some cleaner areas so it should be getting better if the weather cooperates.

This rain will set that back a little bit. Hopefully not much though.

Yeah gotta keep them fingers crossed. If the rain and north winds would leave. We would be golden! Couple weeks of good tides n south wind... we could be back up to the 8-10 salinity we need

I got 2.25" rain last night and a little more sofar today. It has been a slow steady rain, so maybe it will not "run-off" into the river too much.

Yea the salinity graph has been getting better for sure, Im sure the rain wont help but it shouldnt hurt too bad. The reds are around, just gotta catch em on a good tide, as for the specks I know they can handle the conditions but who knows where they are right now..
