Is there anywhere to get live bait around pecan island freshwater city area? Croakers or shrimp?

High tide at the launch by the old icehouse in Freshwater City. Usually full of bait.

But...make sure you have a washdown or a bailing bucket to rinse the mud off after you have made bait. Very soft bottom and messy but full of mullet, croaker, and pogey.

You will want mullet on this end. No not so much the croakers. But whatever works for you.
