Default Friday Morning on Foot

I have got the itch to put a few fresh fish in the fryer, so I am thinking of making a trip early tomorrow morning. But seeing as I am still boatless for the time being, I will be off the bank or wading. Does anyone know of any spots that would be accessible on foot that are producing? I usually head down to the rock breakers west of Holly Beach, but didn't really have any luck last time I went down. Any ideas would be appreciated.

go wade under 2-10 bridge at the beach, bring skrimps

or try that bank near the port off of shell beach drive along the rocks, or cameron jettys fishing pier.

Yes, I have caught a lot of fish there when I was younger. We also used to fish in the channel where the highway curves back north heading east to ferry. We would park in the curve and walk to the channel.

Headknocker

Headed down south this morning, the wind was KICKIN so I went over to the mud flat, got there a little after 6. Had four guys already down in the water, not catching anything. Must've walked the entire flat from one side to the other. First guys there caught a couple decent 16 inchers, water was up really high so I waded out to about my armpits and finally caught a couple of fish, then I remembered something really important...

My iPhone was in my pocket!

I called it a day at 9 and came home to clean my $200 fish and put my phone in a bag of rice, maybe I will be able to salvage it and save a couple hundred bucks.
